Why This Exists
Marksmith Pro started as a tool for my department. After colleagues recommended I make it available to others, I've refined it into a professional solution. It started as a simple tool to save me time but after hitting some problems setting up to run on the school network, turned into a pretty big project. My aim is to recoup some of the time and effort and money I put in developing.
KS4 Rubrics at KS3
We've used KS4-style rubric marking at KS3 to build independence and make feedback clearer. It helps students see what "good" looks like and reflect on their work with clearer language. Students can see where they are working and what they need to do to improve.
